The Mixed Blessing of Burden
Every day, each of us is living our story and taking the next steps along our journey. It’s a good thing that no one told us it would be easy, because it rarely is. Yet, few things worth doing would be, right?
I have chosen to bring up the uncomfortable topics of dying and death - and to host spaces to confront and explore these topics in community - knowing that I had my work cut out for me. Yet, blessings and burdens are often intertwined. Like caring for a loved one, or checking on an ailing neighbor, or listening to the truth in your own heart, this stuff is not convenient or even comfortable. But, it might be some of the most lifegiving things that you can do - for yourself and for others - with your precious time and attention.
If you are curious to explore the the topics of aging, dying, and death and consider how a combination of acceptance and preparation can unlock the blessings of this difficult path that we all must take, sign up for our newsletter or join us for an upcoming program in your community.
